“Meet the capybaras” is an experience that must be purchased separately and gives you access to the capybaras’ enclosure together with a guide and a small group of guests. Experience these calm and curious animals up close and learn much more about their fascinating lives, behaviour and special characteristics.

“Meet the capybaras” takes place once a day during selected periods and requires a ticket.

Price: DKK 119,-

Meet the Capybaras is a shared experience for both children and adults. Therefore, all participants must have a ticket – including adults accompanying a child.

Children aged 0–2 can join for free, and booking a spot is therefore not necessary.

Admission to the park is not included.

Meeting point: Plastikplaneten / Plastic Planet in parking area P1 right next to the spectacled bear enclosure. Your guide will pick you up here. Please have your ticket ready.
Meet the Capybaras is suitable for guests with walking difficulties and wheelchair users.
There is a small fence inside the enclosure to ensure a good and safe experience for both animals and guests.

Together with one of our skilled guides, you will get closer to the capybaras than most guests in the park. You will hear fascinating stories about their lives, behaviour and special characteristics while experiencing the animals in calm and safe surroundings.

Capybaras are known for their calm temperament and social nature, and this experience gives you a very special insight into these fascinating South American animals.

There will be a fence between guests and animals, ensuring that the experience takes place in a safe and respectful way for both people and animals.

The capybaras share their enclosure with both guanacos and rheas, so if they feel like coming closer, you may also be lucky enough to experience these fascinating neighbours up close.
