Or Løveparken, Lejonparken or Löwenpark...You are quite right if this is something you remember from your childhood. When the park opened in 1969, the lions were the main attraction - in fact, the only one. In subsequent years more species arrived and, in 1983, the park was renamed GIVSKUD ZOO. And today we are still proud to show our visitors Northern Europe's largest pride of lions.
