Tyrannosaurus rex

Tyrannosaurus rex means ”King of the tyrant lizards”

Tyrannosaurus rex was one of the biggest carnivores ever to have lived on Earth. Its enormous jaws, lined with more than 60 serrated teeth, may have exerted the hardest bite ever experienced on dry land – fully 15 times harder than a lion’s bite. The T. rex had an incredibly refined sense of smell. It also had terrific eyesight, probably even better than a hawk’s. It is not known whether Tyrannosaurus rex hunted its prey, or simply used its sharp senses to pinpoint carrion from great distances.

that Tyrannosaurus rex teeth could grow to a length of 18 cm (30 cm including the root)? When it opened its huge jaws and tore off a chunk of meat, it could eat up to 200 kg ... in a single mouthful!
